The Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU)

The Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU) is a test to evaluate Japanese language skills and the basic academic ability required by educational institutions such as universities in Japan. Many universities now use this examination in the selection process. TLS offers elective classes and provides comprehensive support, not only for Japanese language, but also for general subjects, mathematics (courses 1 and 2), and science.

Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT)

The Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) is a test to measure Japanese ability, jointly administered by the Japan Foundation and Japan Educational Exchanges and Services. It is the largest-scale Japanese language test in the world, being held in 54 countries and regions.
In addition to evaluating their own level of Japanese skills, examinees make extensive use of the qualification to assist them in entering schools/colleges or when finding employment. JLPT is one of the immediate goals of TLS students, as many of them plan to advance to higher education or find employment in the future.
JLPT was revised in 2010 so as to evaluate Japanese communicative skills (language proficiency). With a focus on elective classes, we at TLS are able to provide full support in preparation for JLPT, including conducting mock examinations.
